Day 0 – Wednesday, March 25, 2009
Starting tomorrow, I will begin my make-believe journey. I will ride my bike 50-75 miles every day. My goal is to visit every major league baseball stadium in the country. Obviously, the journey will take a long time. I will post my progress every day and provide pictures of the things I see.
My journey will begin in my current home town of McDonough, GA. I will start at the town square (pictured). I will plan my journey as I go, but I plan to circle the country and end up where I started. I figure it will take approximately one year to complete the trip, but I really have no clue. I guess we’ll find out together.
Tomorrow, my trip begins. I better get a good night sleep tonight. I will be up at the crack of dawn to get a good start. I should see my first major league ballpark on Day 1 – Turner Field (or as I like to call it, Wrigley Field South). I’ll tell you all about it when I get there.
Until then, I look forward to what my journey will bring to me. I’m sure I’ll see many wonderful things along the way and meet many incredible people. Who knows, I may even run into you. So, feel free to post comments and let me know hwere you are and when I might see you.
Until tomorrow,
KC
